Four toy athletes pose on a snowy slope at a floodlit night stadium hung with SCOFTI banners: a sloth in a teal camo jacket and goggles flashing a peace sign from a SCOFTI snowboard; a grinning wrestler with a topknot in a navy and white WHALERS puffer suit giving a thumbs up; an orange sunburst-headed figure in teal camo raising a fist beside a camo SCOFTI board; and behind them, standing taller on the slope, a woman with long blonde braids in white camo snow gear holding a snowboard. A ski jump rises into the sky behind them.

0 to 5 in 12 Days

Scofti Winter Games is in the arcade, and the shelf is full.

Four events under the lights. Fly the ski jump, hold the line down a 700 m luge run, throw spins and corks in the halfpipe, and send a snowmobile off a monster kicker for three jumps. Start as sloth or deekdeek of the Whalers, and earn tokens to bring in clyde, chickadee, zyra and SI. tela is the final boss. Her halfpipe score is the one on every result card until you beat it. Spend what's left in the Ski Shop and the Snack Bar. One thumb plays all four on a phone.

That makes five. The first line of Unsafe Release was written on the evening of September 23. Void Signal followed on September 26, Sloth Splash on October 4, Scofti Offroad the next morning, and Winter Games went from an empty folder to a playable game the evening of October 5. Twelve days from never having made a game to a full shelf. Watch the billboards along the tracks: the older games are on them.

The arcade now runs newest first, so whatever's freshest is the first thing you see. The games keep getting new levels and tracks while they're live, a little at a time, but the first five are in. Next up is the rest of the site, and ScofTV.
