The jukebox becomes a bright club, and the music comes first

Albums instead of a machine: a soundtrack for each game, a list you build yourself, and a page full of color.

The jukebox cabinet looks retro next to the new ScofTV. The page should be about the music, and the thing to get across is that every song is an original. The player is the small part.

The look. A bright club in strong color: hot pink, electric violet, aqua, a glossy dance floor of lit squares, stage lights sweeping across the top. It is not white and it is not dark. Michael: "bright club for the music and neon arcade for the games." The arcade's neon look comes later, as its own ticket. CLAUDE.md gets one line saying the jukebox is allowed off the white look. It stays light, never dark mode.

Albums. The songs come as tiles, one soundtrack for each game plus a few loose mixes. Open an album to see its songs, with play and add buttons. There is also a view of every song together, filtered by style. Which song goes on which album is drafted from the titles, and Michael checks the list before it ships. The game art stands in as covers until rendered ones arrive. I write a GPT cover prompt for each album, he renders it, and every cover is signed.

Your list. Visitors build their own list: add a song or a whole album, drag to reorder, remove. It plays straight through. It is kept in their own browser and sent nowhere, and the privacy page says so.

The player. A slim bar with the title, play and pause, skip, and a button to open the list. The keypad, the letter and number codes and the strips all go. Shuffle everything replaces Scofti's Choice.

What does not change. Audio only. The player stays in the layout, so music keeps playing from page to page. Nothing loads until something is pressed. The song list still comes from src/content/sound.json, hand-picked.
