Void Signal in the arcade
The second game goes on the shelf beside Unsafe Release, two tall cabinets side by side.
What was done
/arcade/void-signalis mounted from the game's own Vercel project by rewrite, the same way as Unsafe Release. The rewrites are now one list of games, so a third is one line.- The cover stands on the shelf at 16:9, wider than Unsafe Release's, and the two sit on a common floor. The title goes in the top-left corner the way the game's own splash sets it, with "SIGNAL" outlined, because the middle of the art is the crew.
- On a wide screen the game plays in the cabinet at 16:9. On a phone the cover opens it full screen, and the game asks to be turned sideways.
- The privacy page lists the three things Void Signal keeps in the browser: best score, mute, and the last pilot picked.
Still to do
Void Signal's sitemap entry, and moving the arcade's own time, both wait for the moment it is first seen working live on scofti.com.
Then
Seen working live on a phone at 10:31 pm on September 26. That moment is now Void Signal's sitemap time and the arcade's.
Then, portrait
Seen on the shelf, the wide cover next to the tall one read as two different things. The game was turned portrait in its own repo, with one-thumb controls and no "turn sideways" screen. The shelf now shows its 9:16 cover at the same size as Unsafe Release's, titled across the top, and the cabinet plays it at 9:16. The corner title and the wide card came out again. The 16:9 cover stays in the game as its share image.
Seen working live on a phone at 11:11 pm, which is now its sitemap time and the arcade's.
